Get away from the busy day to day and experience what it is like to live a different lifestyle. Always wondered what it would be like to set sail and live out on the water for a while? Fancy having a break and leaving all the noise and busyness of land life behind? How about waking up in a secluded anchorage, hiking the lesser known trail, trying to catch our own fish, feeling like you are off the beaten track and being a part of a crew sharing in this off-grid UK adventure.
Overview
Let do something a little different. On this trip its all about sampling off-grid boat life. We will aim to find quite, secluded anchorages, go on lesser know walks, have fires on the beach at night, try and catch and eat some fish and generally step away from day to day life. We can pop into a town if we need to, but otherwise we can spend the majority of the two weeks anchoring and exploring just from the boat.
The trip will start in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland, and we’ll head north from there to the Scottish Islands where there is so much to explore we’ll only scratch the surface in two weeks. The route will be flexible, we can spend some time in Islay and Jura before heading to Mull and Skye, or we can head to the islands of Coll and Tiree and then on to the Outer Hebrides for that more remote feel. We can hatch a plan depending on what the crew ants to get out of it.
